WARRANTY/GUARANTEE
We guarantee our workmanship/labor for one year from the time it is received by the customer.
As these are antique motors and parts, other problems could arise during this time frame that may not be covered and not be connected to the original repair. Shipping both ways is the responsibility of the customer if repairs are returned after the one year period.
Any problems with a repair, parts or an incorrect order should be brought to our attention within 10 days for best results and ease of correcting the problem promptly. Please open your package and check everything over and give the parts/phonograph a good testing in a timely manner.
Repairs that were made years ago or after the guarantee expires that are returned to us for normal use adjustments or additional work will be charged labor/parts and the return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.
New mainsprings are guaranteed for 2 years from the receipt of the motor by the customer. If the springs have been over wound by the customer which has obvious damage patterns on the spring, then the guarantee is null and void. Good used mainsprings are only covered from 10 days from receipt of the repair. While the springs may play and look fine, there can be metal fatigue in a spring that is 90 or so years old which could cause it to break at any time.
If you choose not to replace all springs with new ones in a multi spring unit, then the guarantee on all the springs is 10 days. The customer's old spring or purchased used spring could break causing damage to that spring and the new one(s).
Phonographs purchased from us on our website are guaranteed in their workmanship for one year from the time of receipt. If the description indicates new springs, then those are covered for 2 years. If the original springs were retained, then there is the usual 10 day guarantee. You may opt to have new springs installed (48.00 each) before we ship it and then get the 2 year guarantee on the springs as well.

Parts may be returned in same condition as they were sent with return shipping being the responsibility of the customer, unless it is an error shipment.
